The Best 2 Years!!!!!

Well this is kinda sad but I haven't been on my blog forever and wow look at the time I now have less then a week left as a missionary and can't believe how fast it has gone by.

So I decided (with a little persuasion from my mother) that I should write one last blog. So I guess here I go!

Well I have been thinking about what I could say besides the same old stuff that you here from all of the other missionaries that return home, so sorry if I repeat my fellow returned missionaries. But it really has been the best 2 years! There is no doubt in my mind that I could have done anything that has changed me in ways I never thought would happen.  And all of  the countless number of people I have met and that have had such a lasting impact on me, that I will never forget, and just wish I could thank them all individually.

A mission is really a hard thing but it is worth it, I mean who would want to live with another guy you have never met before and have to be with him 24/7 (or girl for the sisters). And leave your family for 2 years, I mean it sounds pretty crazy to me. But you know what, it is worth every unforgettable moment, every slammed door, every rejection, every early morning, every trial, every heartache, every p-day, and most of all for every one that accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what it is all about it doesn't matter how many doors got slammed it is how many that opened there hearts up to the Savior. Those are the memories that I am taking with me.

Well I really can't wait to be back in Utah! But I am going to miss Western New York, it will always have a special place in my heart, and I will never forget all of the great memories I have made out here and people I have come to really love and care about.. So I guess so long all of my New York friends, I will never forget you.

And hello to my future I am not sure what you are going to bring me but I know that it will be full of great moments and trials, but I know that as I hold to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as I have been teaching over the past 2 years I know that I will make it trough every one of them.

I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Gods Kingdom on earth and I am so thankful for all of the experiences that I have had and for the change it has brought in my life I will never forget it, it is truly the BEST 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all of the support Love Elder Tyler Rose

  3. Well said Elder. Thanks for your last post.
You had an awesome mission and I know it will be a spring board to the rest of your life. I once heard the terms....Hump, slump and dump. Well, I read where you don't want to dump, it sounds like you are garbage. But if you have a great mission, like you did, then you JUMP..... into the next wonderful, exciting stage of your life. You will draw upon the wells of your mission your whole life. BEST OF LUCK ELDER!! MOMMA COOK
