I love this quote because if we have faith, hope and charity, we will be able to manage our way through the tying times in our lives and in the lives of those around us. It is such a nice thing to have someone you know who has these three attributes. They always are looking for the good in the situation and trying to figure it out how to best help those around them.
I know in my life I have had people that were looking with an "Eternal Perspective" and they are able to see the good in there lives that will come from it. I am working on that so I will be able to see the big picture and see where it falls in to place.
And as the scriptures say we need to pray and ask for faith, hope and charity. So I would encourage you to ask for more faith, hope and charity, so you can see the big picture and be "grounded in the truth" and "abound in good works."
Elder Rose-- So this wasn't meant to be the focus of your post- BUT, eternal perspective!! So important and I do not keep my thoughts in it enough. This mortal life is but a drop in the bucket of eternity and if we kept that perspective we would probably be much more content in our lives now.
