Wow it has been a long time since i have been in here sorry for all of you who read my blg i have been slacking. but i am back now!!!!
Well some things have been on my mind lately about trials and adversity, and how they can really tear you down if you are not ready for them.... and well for me i am never ready for them. And it is hard to know what i am suppose to either do or learn from the situation and it is just tough sometimes because it isn't always an easy decision. But when you put your trust in the Savior and have him there to help guide you through it it makes things a lot easier to handle.
"Each of us will face trials and tests, and . . . it is how we react to those difficulties that will determine our success and happiness. Each of us will face adversity no matter where we are. We are taught in the scriptures that there 'must needs be . . . an opposition in all things' (2 Nephi 2:11). We will each face times of difficulty, and the question is not when we will face them but how we face them." (All Things Work Together for Good," Ensign, May 2010, 101)
I love how it says that we will face trials and so it is something that has to happen but it is what makes us stronger, just like the old saying "no pain no gain"!
So when we are faced with trials lets do all we can to Look to the Savior and have him help lift them and make them lighter.

Life in Wellsville
So it has been awhile since I have written a post, so I am now in a nice small town in New York named Wellsville it has around 5,000 people in it. And so me and my new missionary have been trying to find our way around the town and the little towns around Wellsville.
So I have had a good experience this last week i had my first time being in a branch that had about 20 people there and so it is the smallest congregation of saint that I have had the chance to worship with and it helped me realize something that whether there is 300 like some of the congregations that in Utah or 20 like the little branch here in Wellsville. The church is still the same no matter where you are or how many saints there are to worship with.
I love being able to serve the lord and be apart of the great work that is going forth, I love the words of Joesph Smith:

“The Standard of Truth has been erected. No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing. Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame. But the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and dependent till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, until the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the Great Jehovah will say, ‘The work is done."
I love being apart of the work.

Kelly's Baptism
Well this week we experienced one of the best blessings in being a missionary. One of the ladies we have been teaching for around 3 months entered the waters of baptism. Her name is Kelly and she is just amazing we were able to teach and bring the spirit into her life and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ change here life forever.
So Kelly was going through alot of trials and things weren't going right at all and she had a friend at work who was a member of the church. He noticed that she needed some peace and comfort so he asked if he could invite 2 friends to come over and talk to her about gaining more peace and happiness. Then we were able to start to meeting with her and helping her see the plan of salvation, and how Christ church was restored back to the earth. So that is how it all started and then she was baptized a member of the church on August 1st 2010.
Then yesterday we had the opportunity to go to Palmyra, New York and go to the church sites there and was able to have Kelly see the places where the Prophet Joesph Smith walked and it was just an amazing day.
I can honestly say that seeing some one baptized is the best thing in the whole world knowing that you are helping them get closer to there Father in Heaven and to there Savior Jesus Christ. There is not anything more rewarding as a missionary. I love being a servant of the lord.
