| Day of Baptism |
So Kelly was going through alot of trials and things weren't going right at all and she had a friend at work who was a member of the church. He noticed that she needed some peace and comfort so he asked if he could invite 2 friends to come over and talk to her about gaining more peace and happiness. Then we were able to start to meeting with her and helping her see the plan of salvation, and how Christ church was restored back to the earth. So that is how it all started and then she was baptized a member of the church on August 1st 2010.
Then yesterday we had the opportunity to go to Palmyra, New York and go to the church sites there and was able to have Kelly see the places where the Prophet Joesph Smith walked and it was just an amazing day.

ReplyDeleteWe are so happy that have the opportunity to share these things with us and also others. What a special day for all of you that were involved. It really truly is a blessing in all your lives. What a wonderful gift that you Elders and her friend brought into her life. Her life will truly never be the same. We all need to follow this example.

ReplyDeleteThose are definitely great moments, some more will come when they receive their first call, and if you get to see them be an instrument to bring to gospel to someone else they know, and if your involved with that that's like cloud 10. Keep up the great work of our Heavenly Father.
ReplyDeleteAnother sheep has been brought back into the fold. What a joyous time! You are in a choice spot in the world. Our family was there last summer and was overwhelmed by the spirit we felt there. Heavenly Father could not be any closer except perhaps in His sacred temples!
